The vacancy
As a Technical Services Coordinator, you'll be work collaboratively with the helpdesk, facilities managers, and workplace teams, contributing to a seamless operational service that reflects the values and standards of the Peabody Group. With a particular focus on supporting the effective management and maintenance of properties across our corporate estate you'll actively ensure high standards of presentation, compliance, and functionality.
The role also involves supporting the wider operations team with portering, room setups, and general facilities activities. You may be required to step up and provide cover within the team when necessary, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
You're a highly organised person with excellent communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset. You'll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and you're first rate at handling service requests efficiently, managing compliance activities, and providing solutions to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
A full driving licence is essential as you will drive a company van and will travel between sites Monday to Friday.
Your role covers undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and ensuring the general upkeep of the portfolio. You will perform compliance checks such as PAT testing and water testing, conduct regular building inspections, and address any technical or aesthetic issues that arise. With a proactive approach, you will handle service requests efficiently, manage compliance activities, and provide solutions to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
