Do you want to help change lives for people experiencing issues with addiction?
As a Recovery Facilitator at New Hope you will work within a small team to support people to achieve their goals.
You will manage a caseload of individuals with differing levels of complexity to improve their outcomes and re-integrate into the community.
The suitable candidate for this post will need to have excellent skills in assessing needs and identifying risks. Experience working with individuals with complex drug and alcohol needs is desirable, along with strong attention to detail, as some service users may be subject to statutory orders or mandatory attendance requirements. A high standard of computer literacy and data management is required, as is a clear understanding of confidentiality.
New Hope is the centre from which drug and alcohol services are delivered, and this role is pivotal in ensuring that people wishing to access the services are assessed in a timely manner. We work as a team to ensure all Bracknell Forest residents are receiving the highest support package possible. The successful applicant will work within a team who are highly motivated and work together to the best of their ability.
We want to help our most vulnerable residents to get their lives firmly on track. It’s why our Recovery Facilitators have the time to get to know everyone they work with. We’re working towards success for our clients, and we do what we think should be done, not just what needs to be done.
Key responsibilities...

- To attend multi professional meetings as required.
- To deliver a full range of interventions on a one-to-one basis and in group settings and provide harm reduction advice and information to adults and young people entering treatment.
We offer an extensive training programme for all members of staff which is designed so that members of staff are knowledgeable on substance misuse and the interventions that can be delivered to support individuals.
Our benefits include...
- Generous annual leave entitlement of 25 days increasing to 28 days after 3 years’ service (pro rata for part time).
- Annual leave purchase policy.
- Opportunities for flexible and agile working, to support our employees’ work-life balance.
- An inclusive and social working environment with a variety of staff networks including sports and social clubs.
