Salary Grade - MPS/UPS plus TLR 1.3 £12,033

Contract - Full time Permanent Contract

Start Date - April 2025

We are looking for a Head of Department who:

• Wants to transform children’s lives and develop a love of Design Technology Can be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area Is an excellent classroom practitioner
• Can effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated subject portfolio
• Can lead a department and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
• Work well with staff and students alike
• Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens
• Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development
