Medway Youth Service are looking to recruit to the position of Assistant Youth Development Worker (either 1 x full-time or 2 x 18-hour posts). We are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated youth worker to play a vital role in our innovative project design to inspire the next generation's understanding and appreciation of the rich history and unique environment of the Hoo Peninsula. This isn't your average youth worker role; you will be leading engaging activities, creating a sense of belonging and helping young people discover the fascinating stories of the Hoo Peninsula by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants should have strong communication skills and experience of working with young people in ways that promote their leadership, growth and personal development.
This project is funded for Three years from the start date.
