You will line manage approx. 6 social workers, caseloads are low, with the average being 16 children per social worker. Leadership is critical to support our restorative Practice Model of Building Connections, managers as a critical driver of leading and developing practice. Those interested will show leadership qualities that also promote value based practice that is strengths based and relational. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day management of family support and safeguarding which includes assessment and support for children in need, child protection, pre-proceedings, care proceedings and adoption work.
