You’ll be comfortable with building cases for successful prosecution and appearing in court as part of the prosecution process.</p>\n<p>You’ll be able to confidently engage, direct and enforce commercial waste regulations (where necessary) as outlined by the Environmental Protection Act. In addition to this you’ll also work with business across the district providing advice, guidance and education on their duty of care for waste disposal under the act. </p>\n<p><strong>Key elements of the role include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of scene investigations and preserving evidence to ensure integrity of audit trail</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Environmental Protection Act 1990, Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, and The Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 legislation and best practices.</li>\n<li>Experience in the issuing and recording of Fixed Penalty Notices in accordance with Legislation, Council Policies and Procedures.</li>\n<li>Ability to convey information clearly to a wide range of recipients both internally and externally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This role will be based at our Depot in Sundridge, Sevenoaks Kent TN14 6EP.
