- Creating a safe and supportive environment through regular building checks, addressing tenancy issues, and promoting wellbeing.
- Building trust and fostering independence, helping residents develop essential life skills, maintain tenancies, and work towards their goals.
- Facilitating activities and interventions that promote confidence, resilience, and a sense of community.
- Managing challenging situations with professionalism, adhering to clear procedures to de-escalate conflicts and ensure safety.
What We're Looking For
To succeed, you'll need to demonstrate how you meet the following criteria through examples of your experiences in previous roles:
- Experience supporting vulnerable young women, particularly those with high support needs.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and safeguarding principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to set and maintain professional boundaries.
- Resilience and empathy, balancing compassion with assertiveness to manage complex situations.
- Proficiency in IT and reporting, with the ability to follow detailed procedures.
