We are looking for somebody who will enhance our high performing front line services. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to maintain excellent service to our customers and colleagues. The role can be challenging, physically demanding, you will be delivering services in Caretaking services. Experience of a similar role would be beneficial, full training is also provided to reach the required standards.
As an Operative you will:
- Use practical work techniques to ensure that a high standard of service is maintained in an assigned area to support the delivery of efficient internal services.
- Undertake routine training and monitoring to ensure continuous improvement and personal development is completed.
- Cleaning and maintaining communal individually and as a team
- Clearing items from communal areas to storage locations
- Manual handling and working at height
- Use of various chemicals and mandatory PPE
- Building and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues & customers
- Working in a variety of teams under the direction of Driver Mentors as instructed by Planners & Line Managers
The successful candidate will have some experience in:
- Basic knowledge of tools and materials associated with property cleaning, and potentially minor grounds maintenance.
- Problem solving
- Working without supervision to tight deadlines
- Working within Risk Assessments and procedures
- Customer service skills
- Use of mobile phone, mobile working apps and basic IT systems
- A full UK Driving license is desirable
