About the role
We are a stock retained authority with over 8,400 homes plus sheltered and hostel accommodation under our management, the stock is managed by the Crawley Homes division of the council. We are passionate about the services we deliver and our commitment to providing happy healthy homes to our residents.
Crawley Homes is one of the leading social housing providers in the region who are at the beginning of a three-year stock condition survey programme. Delivering a 10 million pound per annum capital investment programme of works for replacement kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows and doors.
We are looking to recruit an Asset Surveyor to assist us with the production and delivery of our Decent Homes programme. It is therefore an exciting time to join us to ensure you are part of this important agenda.

It would be an advantage, although not essential, if you have worked within a social housing maintenance or project management environment before with a strong background in working on Decent Homes projects.

You may be required to work at a contractor's premises.

- can maintain the stock condition database, use analysis and local knowledge to develop a planned programme of works
- can balance the available resources to manage differing customer demands and priorities
- has the ability to work with partners to achieve our commitments
- has knowledge and understanding of Decent Homes and Social Housing legislation
- has the experience and ability to work and consult with residents on maintenance matters
