Pensby Primary School is seeking to appoint an assistant cook to join our dedicated and friendly kitchen team.
We are looking for someone to work alongside our catering manager to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious food for our children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passionate for food and will support the catering manager in maintaining the high standards of food quality and food hygiene at Pensby Primary.

Pensby Primary sits within a shared site with Stanley School and our kitchen provides lunchtime meals for both settings. Therefore, the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

A positive attitude is a must, and we expect all our kitchen team to demonstrate a friendly and approachable personality, especially when interacting with children and staff.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, flexible and a good team player, and would be considered next in line to the cook.

Required from 3/3/25 or as soon as possible.
