Due to the retirement of our Deputy Headteacher, applications are invited from practising and experienced Catholic teachers for the post of Deputy Headteacher at All Saints Catholic Primary School.

The school is very much at the heart of the Parish Community of St. James’ Bootle and was judged to be Outstanding in all nine areas by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate in March 2025.

All Saints is set in a state-of-the-art building, extremely well-resourced, indoors and outdoors.

The school employs its own Educational Psychologist, Counsellor and Speech Therapist, to support and enhance classroom practice on a day-to-day basis.

Applications are invited from leaders who:
- Are practising Catholics, with a clear understanding of the Deputy's role in supporting the headteacher and governors in realising their vision for the school.
- Have a proven, recent track record of leadership in a primary school, experienced in driving improvements and building effective relationships with colleagues, children, parents and external partners.
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS and Primary National Curriculums and planning for a range of needs, including SEND and EAL.
- Are outstanding classroom practitioners, keen to share their expertise, to coach, mentor and challenge staff, in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our children.
- Have experience of teaching in more than one school.
