The vacancy
As an IT Business Analyst you'll apply effective business analysis methods to define problems accurately, articulate business requirements, and implement appropriate solutions. Using a range of methodologies, including Capability Mapping, Lean 6, Agile and Prince 2, you will ensure that requirements are well-structured and that data analysis supports solution proposals. Your ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels will be key, allowing you to confidently challenge, influence and negotiate while maintaining strong relationships with Product Owners, Project Managers and Business Change Managers .
You're a confident person with strong interpersonal skills. You'll have a keen eye for detail and you're first rate at working with ambiguity, collaborating effectively and adapting to diverse work environments
You'll need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week and the remaining time you'll be able to work remotely.
You will play an integral role in facilitating change by accurately assessing and documenting business benefits, creating robust testing documentation, and supporting colleagues in testing and releasing high-quality solutions. You will also identify and manage dependencies, synergies and risks across allocated work, ensuring alignment with the wider change portfolio. As an active member of the BA Community of Practice, you will contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing .

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst across multiple organisations, with expertise in business process, systems and data analysis, modelling and the production of high-quality documentation.
- Experience in eliciting and managing software requirements, alongside the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
- A deep understanding of Agile development, the Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
- The ability to drive and challenge business users and delivery teams in designing and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.
