Delivering a 10 million pound per annum capital investment programme of works for replacement kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows and doors.<br><br>We are looking to recruit to this role of Planned Maintenance Stock Condition Surveyor to assist us with the production and delivery of our Decent Homes programme. It is therefore an exciting time to join us to ensure you are part of this important agenda.<br><br>We are looking for someone who has:<ul>\n<li>knowledge and ability to survey and collect accurate property condition and repair data to inform annual programmes of investment</li>\n<li>ability to deliver the Decent Homes Planned Maintenance Programme of works</li>\n<li>ability to work with partners to achieve our commitments</li>\n<li>knowledge and understanding of Decent Homes and Social Housing legislation</li>\n<li>experience and ability to work and consult with residents on maintenance matters</li>\n</ul>You need to be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a very busy dynamic multi-skilled team, having the technical and professional skills to deliver the work as set out in the job description.<br><br>It would be an advantage, although not essential, if you have worked within a social housing maintenance or project management environment with a strong background in working on Decent Homes projects.<br><br><b> Additional information </b><br> <br>Working hours are 37 hours per week with a flexible working location (minimum two days in the office).<br><br>A full current UK driving licence will be a requirement of the role.<br><br>Essential user car allowance (currently under review).<br><br>May be required to work at a contractor's premises<br><br>A basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required as part of this role.<br><br><b> Employee benefits </b><br> <br>We offer a generous employee benefits package , with a range of discounts, benefits and wellbeing incentives to suit everyone.<br><br><b> Our way of working </b><br> <br>Our shared values and behaviours reflect the special nature of our council. Crawley Homes is one of the leading social housing providers in the region who are at the beginning of a three-year stock condition survey programme. Delivering a 10 million pound per annum capital investment programme of works for replacement kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows and doors.

We are looking to recruit to this role of Planned Maintenance Stock Condition Surveyor to assist us with the production and delivery of our Decent Homes programme. It is therefore an exciting time to join us to ensure you are part of this important agenda.

  • knowledge and ability to survey and collect accurate property condition and repair data to inform annual programmes of investment
  • ability to deliver the Decent Homes Planned Maintenance Programme of works
  • ability to work with partners to achieve our commitments
  • knowledge and understanding of Decent Homes and Social Housing legislation
  • experience and ability to work and consult with residents on maintenance matters
You need to be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a very busy dynamic multi-skilled team, having the technical and professional skills to deliver the work as set out in the job description.

It would be an advantage, although not essential, if you have worked within a social housing maintenance or project management environment with a strong background in working on Decent Homes projects.

Additional information

Working hours are 37 hours per week with a flexible working location (minimum two days in the office).

A full current UK driving licence will be a requirement of the role.
