We are seeking to recruit an LLPG/LSG Officer with a sound technical knowledge and understanding of GIS, particularly MapInfo, to join our Corporate GIS Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Councils Local Land and Property Gazetteer and Local Street Gazetteer. The Corporate GIS team receive a wide variety of mapping requests; therefore, the successful candidate will require a positive attitude and ‘can do’ approach to work within this context. Applicants should be able to demonstrate sound judgement, have a flexible approach to problem solving and be capable of dealing with a wide variety of situations working within a friendly, supported environment.
