NJC Scale point 4 (Outer London) pro rata, term time only.
Monday to Friday 17.5 hours a week. 8:45am-12:30pm (with 15min unpaid break).
Yardley Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Yardley Primary School is a 2 form (expanding to 3 form) entry community school situated on the edge of Chingford in Waltham Forest with a long-proven record of academic success.

Part time, 17.5 hours a week. 8:45am-12:30pm (with 15min unpaid break). NJC Scale point 4 (Outer London) term time only.
We are looking to recruit a SEN teaching Assistant to work in Reception initially with possibility of working in Nursery, KS1 or 2. They will;
- work under the supervision of teaching staff to undertake care and support programmes for pupils
- support individuals or a small group with learning tasks
- assist pupils in participating fully in school life
- support learning of targeted pupils within the class
- carry out Maths and English interventions
- carry out speech and language programs
- has experience of working with children who have a high level of support needs, particularly Autism
- ideally has knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework
- support with lunchtime
- will include personal care of children
As part of the SEN team, staff may be asked to support children in any year group with a variety of needs.
