You will need to be articulate, creative and take real pride in the work you produce.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p>The Digital Information Officer will work as part of our Corporate Communications Team and will need to have the following skills and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educated to GCSE level or above, with excellent literacy and a good grasp of information technology</li>\n<li>Experience of creating engaging content utilising digital communication tools, including social media and websites.</li>\n<li>Good written communications skills with an attention to detail and ability to develop engaging content which is easy to read and understand</li>\n<li>Good customer skills and the ability to use own initiative, as well as working effectively as part of a team</li>\n<li>Good level of organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate a range of projects<br><br>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the role…….</strong><br>Digital platforms like social media accounts are an important source of information about the Council and its services. You will be expected to help maintain and develop the Council’s social media presence, including content development, customer engagement and advertising – all of which helps our residents and service users to find and access the information they need.</p>\n<p>You will be required to work together with services to develop content for our information service web pages, making sure that up-to-date and accurate information is in place to help the Council meet its statutory responsibilities for children, young people, families and adults.</p>\n<p><strong>The </strong><strong>Digital Information Officer interviews will be held on Tuesday 29 April 2025, face to face at the Council offices.</strong>  Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.</p>\n<p><strong>We will be reviewing applications on a regular basis and inviting those who meet our essential person specification criteria to interview.
