The main aim of this role is to motivate and manage the day-to-day activities of the open spaces team, and will be responsible for our Grounds Maintenance, Tractor Drivers, Cleansing Operatives and NATS Teams.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day health and safety of their team, ensuring risk assessments and method statements are completed and updated in line with evolving legislation and will be responsible for implementing these changes.</p>\n<p>Good record keeping is a must for the successful candidate who will be required to attend meetings, perform team meetings/toolbox talks, undertake staff development programs and appraisals, initiate performance reviews and ensure that the Key Performance Indicators of the team are being met and exceeded.</p>\n<p>This role will also require a competent person to train members of staff in-house on machinery and best practice to ensure the highest quality of work for our residents.</p>\n<p>Work hours are required to be flexible to attend scheduled and unscheduled work demands such as early/ late exhumation, weekend and late running funerals, meetings and call outs.
