You will ensure our school continues to benefit from and contributes to local networks, disseminating guidance and training. You should be organised, IT efficient and passionate about improving outcomes for our vulnerable children.</p>\n<p><strong>We are looking for a candidate who will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead by example and inspire, motivate, challenge and support an committed team of support staff</li>\n<li>Be committed to and champion inclusion for all children.</li>\n<li>Have a commitment to delivering and receiving professional development and be reflective on their practice</li>\n<li>Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN and Inclusion policy and coordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability</li>\n<li>Have a good knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice, its application within schools and interventions for a range of SEN</li>\n<li>Have experience of working with external partners, relevant agencies and parents to effectively support and improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils and families</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We would welcome applications from experienced teachers who want to make a significant contribution to the provision and outcomes for our vulnerable pupils. We would expect the successful candidate to have completed the National award for SENCO accreditation/NPQ for SENCOs or be prepared to undertake this qualification. Candidates must have experience of working with children with SEND. Experience of working with neurodiverse  and a good knowledge of phonics  is essential.</p>\n<p>This is a dual role incorporating some small group intervention work in the classroom and some 1:1 high needs support within the class.  The time allocated to each role will be dependent upon the needs of the class, year groups and our new September intake.  </p>\n<p>The role is for 32.5 hours per week, 8.15am to 3.15pm with 30 minutes lunchbreak - these times are non-negotiable.</p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is caring and patient, has a positive outlook and has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  If you have good communication skills, are friendly and resilient and have an aptitude for working with children who are neurodiverse,   then please contact us to visit our setting.      </p>\n<p>The School is a 2 form entry Primary School, expanding to 3 forms over the coming years.
