The number of students varies each year and the demand is based on student needs as they re-sit their GCSE level English or study online/or in class A ‘Level courses or if appropriate offer Functional Skills level 1 & 2 classes.  The role will also require the delivery of adult ESOL, outside of normal Government working hours from beginners to Advanced.  A typical working day may start at 10am to Noon with 1 ½ hours for lunch, then from 1:30 to 7pm, however, hours are flexible with an expectation to work 37.5 hours a week with 30 days annual leave, which can be taken around the teaching schedule.</strong></p>\n<h2><strong>The Role:</strong></h2>\n<p>To offer appropriate level of English lessons to students, studying GCSE, A Level and Functional Skill (level 1- level2) either in a 1-1 setting or in small classes, usually 3-5 students.  The role will also require the post holder to deliver ESOL lessons after working hours, from beginners to advanced and may be required to assist with ESOL delivery from KS1-KS4 as well as HM Prison Stanley.
