This role would ideally suit a candidate with the ability to implement strategies for health improvement, good understanding of the children and young people’s pathway, with strong networking and influencing/negotiating skills. The postholder will need to develop a good understanding of the context of services in the borough which can support this strand of work within the Family Hubs.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be working across Public Health, Haringey Family Hubs, CAMHs and perinatal primary and secondary healthcare. You will be working in a dynamic, supportive and highly motivated Public Health team that is well embedded within the Adult and Health Directorate of the Local Authority, with excellent working relationships across the Council, the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) voluntary sector and wider partners. In this key role you will be able to pre-empt financial risks and issues, devising mitigation and solutions. The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in support of the Directorate and the Head of Finance in the development of Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy. This role covers Children’s & Young People Services.</p>\n<h3>About you</h3>\n<p>You will have an extensive working knowledge of Children’s and Young Peoples Services or can demonstrate transferable skills having worked in another area that would enable you to operate in a business partnering model to deliver high quality support. As a Team Manager you will need to ensure that the work of your team is compliant with statutory requirements and that you play a key role in shaping and delivering services for households in housing need, keeping abreast of new initiatives and caselaw and working in partnership to maximise positive outcomes for customers.</p>\n<p>You will be required to work under pressure managing one of five generic teams responsible for offering essential and holistic front-line services by finding practical and long-term housing solutions for those homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will provide strong leadership and ensure staff are competent in working within statutory requirements.</p>\n<h3>About you</h3>\n<p>To be considered for this role, you must have extensive understanding of housing and homelessness legislation. You will require excellent people management skills; managing a diverse team covering a broad range of duties to find housing solutions for homeless applicants or those at risk of homelessness.
