The role
Southwark Council’s Corporate Facilities Management (CFM) team has a Procurement Manager vacancy; this is an opportunity to take the lead in shaping the future of our facilities management contracts. What You’ll Do:
As Procurement Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement the Council’s contract strategy for pan-Council facilities management services.
- Ensure contracts are sustainable, drive innovation, and embed social value while delivering high-quality service improvements.
- Act as the procurement and contracts subject matter expert, ensuring strategic FM contracts are properly procured and effectively managed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive efficiency, compliance, and best value.
What You’ll Bring:

- Proven expertise in procuring and managing high-value service contracts within a similar environment.
- A strong understanding of public sector governance, compliance, and contract management best practices.
