This is an exciting opportunity for you to join SEND SAS, who have a vacancy for a Qualified Teacher with expertise in SEND.<br><br><b>About the role</b><br><br>This is a teaching role to support children who are not accessing a school placement, by planning and delivering relevant teaching programmes in their homes or venues on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.<br><br>You will be responsible for ensuring that the educational and developmental progress of children, including children with SEND, is met in line with the Hertfordshire Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Strategy and HCC strategic objectives.<br><br>You will be teaching children missing education (CME), on EOTIS packages or excluded from school, providing effective high-quality programmes of learning and teaching and liaising with professionals, families, and settings to support reintegration as appropriate.<br><br>You will be responsible for your own caseload, organising visits, timetables of work and writing programmes of learning.<br><br>This role involves lone working across Hertfordshire and the ability to undertake risk assessments will be key. <br><br><b>About you</b><br><br>We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated teacher to join our friendly, experienced teams supporting children and young people in Hertfordshire.<br><br>We welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds.
