About the role:
As a Community Sport and Health Apprentice you will support the team with the planning and delivery of projects, activities, campaigns, and events.
You will have the opportunity to plan and deliver sport and physical activity programmes and lead on the monitoring and evaluation.
You will support with the delivery of the Healthy Hub pop-up clinics where you will be providing information and signposting people to relevant services.
You will also complete a Level 3 apprenticeship in Community Sport and Health.
This role requires a presence in the office and out in the community with the occasional evening and weekend work.
It is desirable for the postholder to have the ability to travel around the borough.
About you:
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate a positive attitude to work and act as a role model within their local community, who pays attention to detail, has a willingness to adapt to change, and has excellent time management and organisational skills.
You will have the ability to work individually and as a member of a team and should be confident to take own initiative.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
The applicant must have a minimum of Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 9-4 (A* - C).
