The Post
In our Adult Social Care and Financial Litigation Team team we are looking for a Legal Assistant to support the work within the Adult Social Care team, including administrative preparation of welfare and Deprivation of Liberty authorisation cases in the Court of Protection, Ordinary Residence disputes, threats of Judicial Review and other casework relating to Adult Social Care and to carry a small individual caseload under supervision.
The Person
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant used to working in a busy office within a social care team with strong organisational skills to assist lawyers in the team to progress cases, draft pleadings, witness statements and prepare matters for the County Court, High Court, Administrative Court and Court of Protection.
The work will be varied and provide experience across many interesting legal fields including community care, mental health and mental capacity law.
