An opportunity has arisen to work as a Property Executive overseeing the corporate estate of the council in the District of Folkestone & Hythe. This includes a wide variety of assets ranging from standard commercial property classes, through to more unique real estate such as beach huts and football clubs. The district includes a vast stretch of coastline, and the estate also encompasses beaches, country parks, play areas and the proposed Otterpool Park Garden Town. No day is ever the same but with your wealth of property experience you will be able to step up to be a guardian of the estate, facilitating effective management of the property portfolio including maximisation of revenue and delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
Ranked in the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in the UK, and in Lonely Planet as one of the best places to visit in the world, the District is an exciting place to work. Based in our office in the heart of Folkestone, you’ll have easy access to transport links including the High Speed 1 railway, Folkestone’s regenerated town centre, the seafront and old town creative quarter. Recognised by Best Companies as an outstanding organisation to work for, the council has a real focus on supporting career development, wellbeing and family friendly initiatives, and a hybrid working culture that enables flexible and remote/home working.
You can also expect an excellent benefits package that includes corporate membership, discount and salary sacrifice schemes, reimbursement of professional membership fees, up to 31 days holiday and Christmas office closure and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
