This is a great opportunity to join the Tenancy Sustainment Team, on a one year fixed term contract or a secondment opportunity.
You will be responsible for supporting people from the initial stages of their licence to the early days of their tenancy with Dacorum Borough Council. You will help them understand their roles and responsibilities as a tenant, how to sustain a tenancy and encourage and facilitate their independence, quality of life, health and well-being. Duties will include providing practical advice, information and support on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.
You will manage your own caseload of clients. You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with applicants, tenants, colleagues and partner organisations (both statutory and voluntary).
