Strategic Support Service, Sefton Council, Bootle, Merseyside
Sefton Council is seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to join its central Business Intelligence & Performance Team, supporting data analysis and reporting for the Adult Social Care service.
Technical experience and practical ability to analyse and report data using MS Excel, T-SQL, and Microsoft Power BI, are pre-requisite essentials. Importantly, we are looking for someone with prior experience of local government and data analysis relating to Adult Social Care or similar services.
You will be required to analyse data from the Council’s LiquidLogic system and other data sources, assist with statutory government returns, produce monthly performance reports, and respond to ad-hoc requests for data. Experience of using the LiquidLogic for Adults system is highly desirable. However, full training can be given. You will also need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, to work closely with others in adult social care and health to help to drive data analysis and performance management.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics and enjoys problem solving. A degree or equivalent in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
If you are unsure that you meet all of the specific requirements but feel you would be a good fit for the position, then please do apply. We are looking for someone that is willing and eager to learn.
This is a great opportunity to develop your expertise, working on high profile priorities as part of a dynamic and supportive professional team.
