About Us:
Our council is a great place to work, where every day is different. We’re committed to investing in our staff and we have some of the best terms and conditions in local government locally. It’s an exciting time to join us. We’re just starting our organisation wide transformation programme – looking at how we can use digital technology to change the way we work, provide a better experience for customers, making the way we work more efficient and helping us to meet future budget challenges. To support us, we’re looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Change Delivery Officer.
The next phase of our exciting programme will deliver wide-ranging organisational and digital changes, and we need a skilled and experienced change professional to help implement change strategies to ensure we get the most benefit from this, and to help guide and support the organisation through this change. This new and exciting role will support significant organisational change so you will be passionate about being part of a forward-thinking team that will make a real difference.
The Role:
This is a new role that will have a big impact. You will have a pivotal role in promoting and embedding change readiness across the organisation, supporting the successful and sustainable deliveries of the council’s wide-ranging transformation and digital initiatives. Working with colleagues and members across the council, you will help ensure that transformation goals are met effectively and inclusively. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting both the strategic and operational aspects of change management, ensuring that new initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes.
About You:
You will bring experience of change management and be a strategic thinker with proven experience in both the high-level and day-to-day management of organisational change. You will be an excellent communicator, adept at building strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation, managing projects, and implementing change initiatives that deliver tangible, measurable outcomes. If you are passionate about driving change and making a positive impact for our staff and customers, we would love to hear from you.
