Sir William Stanier are looking for a passionate and inspiring Female Curriculum Leader and Teacher of PE to join our supportive and dedicated team. We are looking for a professional and ambitious person, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. As this role requires the supervision of female pupils it is an occupational requirement to request female applicants only.
The successful candidate will:
• teach at all levels and to all abilities, seeking to ensure that all pupils make very good progress, enjoy their learning, and become well educated
• contribute more widely to the well-being of our pupils, through being a form tutor, undertaking duties, and being a role model for them for their learning and their conduct
• have an enthusiasm for their subject, which motivates and supports other staff and pupils
• be an enthusiastic and innovative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to achieving high standards within a successful department
• have a clear understanding of the characteristics of high-quality teaching and be able and willing to teach across the whole age and ability range
• quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues
• understand that behaviour management starts with the quality of teaching
• demonstrate personal resilience and role model those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people

Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale plus TLR 2b
