About the role
The Senior Green Spaces Officer shall
- Identify and prioritise projects which will improve and maintain the facilities and biodiversity of our parks and greenspaces
- Collaboratively deliver these projects in a sustainable and innovative way
- with key internal and external stakeholders
- Keeping within budget
- Whilst also managing events within them
- And at all times ensuring health and safety is being followed
About you
- We are looking for someone with a land / grounds management, conservation or horticulture related qualification
- With Good knowledge and a passion for the management and improvement of green spaces
- Experience in countryside management
- Experience in working with and supervising volunteers
- Knowledge of different types of funding
- And Budget management
