1:1 Teaching Assistant (part-time - 13.50 hours per week)

Rowan Park School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3 -19 years.  The school has three sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism and The Rowan Tree for Reception and Year 1 pupils’ who have a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties.

The Governors wish to appoint a temporary part-time Teaching Assistant based at Rowan Park School to support a young person with their learning and personal care needs.  To meet the needs of this young person, full training will be provided.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for working with children and young people with disabilities and are committed to ensuring everyone achieves success in their academic, social and independent skills.  Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for further details.

The hours are 13.50 hours per week and are worked as follows: Mondays  - 8.45 a.m. to 16.30 p.m. and Tuesdays - 8.45 a.m. to 16.00 p.m.
