We are seeking a Creative Strategy Support Officer to join our Partnerships & Community Engagement Team. This is a very friendly and supportive team that delivers a wide range of services to our residents. This role offers an opportunity to work with organisations from across the borough to grow audiences and support the development of opportunities for creativity, arts, culture and heritage.
The post holder will support the voluntary and community sector to engage in creativity and grow the local creative and cultural offer. They will work to develop effective partnerships and secure funding for arts, culture and heritage projects, encouraging local participation in creativity with a mind to the wider personal and social benefits that being creative can bring to both the individual and the local community.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with the voluntary and community sector within an arts, culture or heritage setting and will need to be proactive in working with groups to develop relationships and facilitate joint working. Applicants should be able to work on their own and as part of a team and be able to develop their own work programme to support the delivery of the Creative Strategy for Hertsmere.
The post is offered on a 3 year fixed term contract (36 hours per week).
