Hebden Green Special School in Winsford wishes to appoint 2 Maternity Cover Teachers who are able to deliver an excellent and diverse classroom offer and education to our pupils
This post will likely be within our Foundation Stage and Key Stage 2 departments and will be supporting our pupils who are able to access elements of a mainstream curriculum but who have significant barriers to their learning including those with medical, physical and communication barriers.
Hebden Green is a school for pupils from 2-19 with complex medical, learning, communication and physical needs. We are a school who values love, learning and individuality. We work expertly with a range of multiagency professionals to meet the health, welfare and educational needs of each of our pupils.
We embrace the idea of family at Hebden Green and work with pupils, families, staff and our local community to create a provision that supports every single one of our pupils.
Helen, Hebden Green’s Headteacher would love to hear from you if you are ……….
Passionate about making a difference. If you care about the little things and want to go above and beyond. If you believe in fostering a love for learning and celebrating individuality. If you are innovative and hard working. If so, we invite you to apply to become a part of our dedicated and amazing team at Hebden Green Special School, where every pupil’s unique journey is cherished, supported and valued.
In return we can offer you a supportive and flexible working environment which will care for you professionally to meet your potential but will also value you and recognise you as a person through our extensive wellbeing offer. We will offer you above the statutory PPA offer, an ability to work off site to complete your PPA, additional days out of the classroom to complete assessments and curriculum updates. We believe happy staff makes happy pupils.
