L&Q are looking for an experienced Passive Fire Stopper to join the fire management repairs team within the Property Services. This team is responsible for carrying out repairs following on from our internal and external FRAs.
The role provides a customer-focused Fire Management Repairs and Maintenance service across L&Q’s properties and communal areas whilst putting safety first.
The role will report to a Fire Maintenance Supervisor and to carry out, works as instructed. Whilst meeting L&Q's corporate targets of financial strength.
Candidates will ideally have experience within a reactive fire role from a social housing background. They will be able to carry out several tasks including, but not limited to, passive fire-stopping, finishing, and decoration.
This role requires a keen attention to detail. Awareness of Ablative batt, fire-rated plasterboard, and intumescent sealants.
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform & PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
