We are regarded as a business that offers great value and a personal service to its customers. Herts FullStop has over 60 years' experience of supplying goods and services to educational establishments. As well as educational establishments we also supply other non-profit making groups such as charities, the NHS, local authorities, and childminder groups.<br><br><b>About the role</b><br><br>We recognise work life balance is important. We have a range of contracts available, including contracts that would allow you to have over 90% of school holidays as non-working time. We also do not require our Delivery Drivers to work evenings or weekends.<br><br>Within this role, you will:<ul>\n<li>Complete customer deliveries and collections of all types in line with our high standards.</li>\n<li>Operate your vehicle in a safe, legal and economical manner at all times.</li>\n<li>Follow all safety and legal procedures</li>\n</ul>We have great opportunities for you to join us on a 'zero hours' basis. This gives you great flexibility and means you can work the days you are available and when Herts Fullstop require you.<br><br>To meet our customer's needs, there will be peak times (where you may need to support the business at short notice)<ul>\n<li>Jan/Feb/March</li>\n<li>June/July/September</li>\n</ul><br><b>About you</b><br><br>Essential:<ul>\n<li> A C1 licence is required for this role, however if you do not already hold one, we can fund training for you to achieve this. </li>\n<li>Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Qualification</li>\n<li>Ability to follow route plans and maps.</li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.</li>\n</ul>Desirable<ul><li>Previous experience would be advantageous.</li></ul><br><br>This job role is within the Operational Services, level OPS4 job profile.
