We are seeking to recruit dedicated and committed social workers to take up posts within our Locality Teams.
Do you want to have a hugely positive impact on adults and their carers in our communities? Your role will involve working with adults aged 18 years and upwards, promoting wellbeing and supporting people to achieve the outcomes that are important in their life. You will probably work on cases that will change your assumptions, change your outlook and even change the way that you practise.
As an experienced social worker, you will manage a varied caseload, carrying out assessments focusing on the strengths of the person, their families, carers and local communities to promote independence. You will be committed to working in a strength based, outcome focused way and to making a difference to the lives of the individuals and families which you work with. Candidates must have post qualification experience along with a good knowledge of relevant legislation and local authority responsibilities in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

Requirements
To apply for this position you must have a Social Work qualification and preferably with experience of working in a community-based setting.
You will need to be registered with Social Work England.
A DBS certificate which is satisfactory to Tower Hamlets Council will be a condition of your appointment.
