You will need to be a good team worker, able to work unsupervised with a 'can do' attitude and especially treating people with dignity and respect.<br><br>On a daily basis you will be working closely with children with varying levels of complex and profound learning difficulties that includes sever autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties as well as severe developmental delay.<br><br>The ideal candidate would be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, which includes vulnerable children with special needs, parents, and school staff. To consider that the role requires a willingness to understand the children's needs, to have patience and compassion.<br><br>Be prepared to undertake various training sessions related to this role at nominated locations.<br><br>As part of a two person crew the vehicle is the responsibility of both driver / attendants and it's their duty to carry out daily checks, cleanliness of the vehicle and to report any defects or accidents involving the vehicle or passengers.<br><br>Requirements: <br><br>A D1 category Driving Licence is essential for this role.<br><br>This job role is within the Operational Services, level OPS4 job profile.
