Step into a role where you make a real difference, right from the start. As part of our Early Help service, you’ll take on responsibility from day one, backed by all the support you need to harness your skills and experience. You'll be at the heart of ensuring families and young people receive the highest quality care, helping them reach their full potential, have their voices heard, and stay safe. Together, we can shape brighter futures for children and families.
You will ensure that consistent, high-quality advice and support regarding the education welfare of children and their families is available to Early Help colleagues, Children’s Social Care and other BFC colleagues. You will also consistently promote the benefits of good attendance and set high expectations for schools to ensure that children and young people, particularly the most vulnerable, reach their full potential.
As a team member you will contribute to our ‘can do’ approach by being flexible and responsive to the unique needs of each family, child and young person you are supporting. You will need to combine the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, supporting team colleagues and representing the service where this is required.
Interviews to be held week commencing 14th October 2024.
Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment. Additionally, this approach allows the recruiting manager and the team to establish connections with potential team members.
We will be reviewing applications regularly and reserve the right to close the advert early if suitable candidates are identified. To avoid disappointment, you are advised to submit your application as soon as possible.
Any successful internal candidate will be offered the position as a secondment and, in line with Section 8.1 of the Secondment Policy, must consult with their manager before applying.
Please note AI is prohibited during the interview process, any candidate using AI will be withdrawn from consideration.
