You'll ensure income generation that supports the Council's budget, providing management support, coordination and oversight to ensure the smooth running of all sites so that all aspects of daily buildings, facilities operations and the centralised booking system run effectively and efficiently, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer care and always maintaining the highest standard of service.<br> <br>The Community Centres Operations Manager will require an ability to work under tight deadlines whilst collaborating with multiple stakeholders and user groups. Your role will be dynamic, with no two days the same, as you strive to make a meaningful impact in the community.<br> <br><strong>Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.</strong><br><strong>About you</strong><br>We're looking for someone who is skilled in fostering community development and brings a wealth of experience of managing community buildings, staff, budgets, maximising income generation and space utilisation and of developing strategic marketing campaigns within culturally diverse urban settings that align with strategic goals.<br> <br>You'll have knowledge of health and safety legislation, compliance obligations and of relevant policies associated with building management.<br> <br>We need an excellent relationship builder, your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively engage with a wide range of audiences through both written reports and verbal presentations. You'll think strategically and can analyse complex data including financial data to provide clear, actionable recommendations towards securing long-term system change and sustainability of the centres.<br> <br>You have proven success in collaborating with elected officials, VCFSE organisations, Statutory partners, and residents to achieve tangible outcomes and are comfortable managing budgets and day to day financial operations, this will help you to thrive in this role.<br> <br>You will have working understanding of equity issues facing Luton and can integrate inclusive policies into practice seamlessly.
