Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here. <br><br>The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.</p>\n<p><strong>The Post</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for an exceptional candidate to deliver the Parents as First Teachers intervention as part of the Family Hubs and Start for Life offer.</p>\n<p>As the successful candidate, you will support the implementation of the Parents as First Teachers intervention by delivering a homebase education and support package as well as delivering parenting activities in a group setting.</p>\n<p>You will also contribute to the evaluation and effectiveness of the programme, and evidencing the sustained impact for parents.</p>\n<p>You will work closely with the parenting coordinator, Family Wellbeing Centres, health colleagues, schools, and other partners to respond to the diverse needs of families.</p>\n<p><strong>The Person</strong></p>\n<p>You will be passionate about supporting babies, children and their parents, and will posses sound knowledge and experience of child development, particularly in the earliest years.
