This exciting opportunity is to cover the role of the Prevent Education Officer and will work with educational settings to identify vulnerabilities and risks, deliver training, build and maintain a network of contacts to improve coordination of Prevent activity. The successful applicant will work with schools to increase compliance with the Prevent duty, help shape local strategy and deliver interventions to strengthen resilience to all forms of extremism.<br>\nWe are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our Prevent Team to build on an existing programme of work.<br>\nThis is a high profile role and we will require you to:<br>\n<br>\n - Have experience of working within educational settings,<br>\n - Have excellent communications skills,<br>\n - Influence and engage a wide range of partners and stakeholders,<br>\n - Be politically astute,<br>\n - Have confidence and resilience,<br>\n - Have or willing to undertake a CTC/SC Security clearance.<br>\n<br>\nYour application must be supported by a supporting statement, the supporting statement should address how you meet the requirements of the job description and person specification. Your supporting statement should be around 2 pages in A4 format.<br>\nThe post is initially offered on a contract until the end of March 2025, and further depending on renewed funding being available.
