There are lots of exciting areas to be involved in and to have a positive impact on how we manage infrastructure development across <strong>Lincolnshire.</strong></p>\n<p>The Government’s commitment to a net-zero United Kingdom will require significant changes to the energy sector and as a result numerous energy projects are being brought forward in <strong>Lincolnshire</strong>. You will be working at the forefront of this transition in <strong>Lincolnshire </strong>which includes <strong>12 major solar projects, energy from waste, carbon capture, new grid infrastructure and cable routes from off-shore wind farms</strong> and more are expected.</p>\n<p>You will be joining a <strong>multidisciplinary infrastructure team of specialists</strong> to respond to the<strong> NSIP's</strong> which comprise some of the biggest planning projects the County faces. As our Principal Infrastructure Officer, you will work collaboratively with promotors, applicants, communities, and stakeholders. You will carry out a range of planning duties, including preparation of Local Impact Reports, negotiation of legal agreements, appearing at examinations, inquiries and hearings and discharge of conditions/requirements, as assigned, taking account of relevant legislation, policies, and the procedures of the Council. You may also be required, as workload dictates, to process applications for minerals and waste development.  <strong>You will also have day to day management responsibility for the teams Infrastructure Officer and Planning Apprentice. </strong> </p>\n<h4><strong>About you </strong></h4>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is comfortable working at a strategic level with a broad variety of decision-makers and stakeholders.</p>\n<p>You will demonstrate experience and knowledge of managing statutory processes related to the<strong> 2008 Planning Act or significant development management experience</strong>. Additionally, you should have the ability to assess complex planning proposals and prepare detailed responses and reports. Strong communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills are essential, as is confidence in liaising with senior leaders, officers, councillors, applicants, the public, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you must possess excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of building high-level work programmes and providing professional advice in a timely manner.</p>\n<p>On joining the team, you will be well supported, but you will be able to find your feet quickly.
